What a lovely spot to sit and enjoy a delicious coffee in a compostable cup. The sausage rolls were 1st class. The shop sells fresh, desirable food including local asparagus and bread from The Hungry Guest. Very friendly shop keepers : Excellent.
A thriving community Village Shop & Post Office opened by the new team in March 2018 and going well. They have a good mix of the essentials plus they always seem to be introducing some new lines to see how they sell. Brand new post office counter and the old dedicated counter has gone so making way for more retail space. Note: Opening times shown in Google are for the shop. The post office is mornings Mon-Fri ~ see their website for details.
Do yourself a favour and stop here for snacks and coffee if you're in the area. There are many village stores that offer a welcome stop on your ride, run, hike, but none quite as friendly as the people running this one.
Came to the rescue when we needed Calpol for poorly toddler. Thank you, good shop stock.
