Just awful, have never thought of the locals, when developing massive estates, just Prue greed for the money. Most road's are a joke. You past work off and the tarmac is a different colour to what was there before and its everywhere. Road works, why do you still dig road's up like they did Forty years ago. You know it will crack, when water, frost gets in there and doing it properly in the first place. You know the way they do it,is wrong and will just turn into pots holes in a year or two. Yet you still do it. Have you no vision for the future . Do you have no common sense. South road is a joke, so much money you could earn,if you invested in the town. The head's of the council really need to step down, for the sake of our town. We need young people to be taken over with fresh ideas. Not a bunch of dinosaurs that should have retired a long time ago.. Glad to see the council listening to the people . We pay so much council tax, for what and the hundreds of millions your getting from the developers. yet you don't build new roads, just keep tarmacing old Victorian horse and cart tracks.. The average house is so expensive now, that most kids stay at home as they can't afford their own homes. So it's becoming the norm for families to have four cars.nFor the sake of the county, please resign and let fresh people who really care about our community. Make a difference..nIf you have any love for our county, you know what to do.
The staff have always been helpful to me, but unfortunately my contact with them is because I have a complaint - usually a missed bin collection. It happens too often and no amount of complaining or promises seems to improve matters.nBut don't get me started on the planning applications that get approval - how can they pass these monstrosities that are being built with no sympathy for the existing buildings?
Terrible, due to a clerical error with my banking app or their website payment was delayed in regards to a parking fine.nFine trebled despite my appeals to pay the original fine it's now £105 more than I earn most days!nSad to see a council less interested in supporting local business and more interested in making a quick buck!nI work all over Sussex and the South, as well as London and further. Of all the councils and boroughs I've dealt with in regards to fines and also in my experience as a sub contractor working with lots of different councils West Sussex Council and East Sussex Council included Mid Sussex District Council are undoubtably the worst, least helpful and just downright rude. I had to prompt them multiple times to get a reply and have been more than willing at every juncture to pay. Even sent them screenshots of the payment system failing.nManaged to pay today, after lots of undue stress about county court judgements and other similarly veiled threats. I hope no one else has to endure such an experience.
Mid Sussex Council have got worse infact rubbish and useless ever since the Liberal Democrats got in, quick enough to take your hard earned money but can't be bothered to do the simplest of tasks, 1 star, if was was -100 I would have given it, can't say no more as they are just useless!!!
Useless incompetent and lazy and as for the bin schedule it’s a joke recycling bins being emptied every fortnight isn’t good enough every other council does this every week knowing from experience. Being short staffed is no excuse. Your telling me you can’t recycle a pizza box that’s in the recycling bin because it has had food in it ...Jesus Christ. I just hope that all your refuge collectors have immaculate bins and every last item is washed and loosely and gently placed into there bins and not to much because you can’t put to much rubbish in your bin or they won’t take that eithernPeople have bigger things to worrying about these days than to come home from work to find the bin hasn’t been emptied for such a reason as this. So all said and done I will now have a months worth of recycling for you to take on your next visit.
