Had the most skillfully seared scallops of my life here. Three perfectly salted, crispy caramelized delights! The olive oil and balsamic served with the bread - truly high quality. Lume knows excellence.
A romantic environment in a nice location in London but very poor quality in food and service including: 1 limited choice of food and drink 2 Even some options in their food/drink menu was not available that night 3 not much Italian flavour as opposed to what has been claimed 4 no kids-menu... my 7 years old son returned home hungry 5 over-priced 6 unbelievable Long waiting time for any order to be taken and served. 7 I am not sure if other reviews are genuine, we felt to be misled by the previous reviews. It was waste of time and money... not recommended at all. Kid-friendliness: no food specified for kids.... my 7 years old son returned home hungry! Wheelchair accessibility: not accessible to wheelchair.
This is our favorite restaurant in Hampstead. The food is exquisite, but for us it's the personal touch of the owner and the waitress that make it a special place. Love their wine selection and advice. Always great value for money on the bottles.Food: 5/5
From the moment we booked I had a good feeling about the restaurant, this was supported by the warm greeting on arrival. The menu is mouth watering, making a choice challenging. We settled on a couple of starters, charcuterie platter, olives and berrata to start followed by the ravioli and fish, both delicious. Recommend you leave room for dessert, they are a must try, chocolate pudding, apple basket and tiramisu we're all excellent. Very complimentary, comprehensive wine list to support the menu. Service and kitchen both excellent and seamless. Definitely recommend and will try to return when next in London.
Really good experience. The wine by the glass offers a good selection and the focus on Sardinia means that they offer wines I've never experienced before. We tried five - and they were all good. The veggie food was outstanding. Starters and mains were unusual combinations but worked really well together. Recommend the bread basket as the olive oil on the table is first class. it's expensive but they provide great wine and food. Recommended for a special occasion.
Happened upon this place accidentally. It looked loved by the locals, and now I understand why. The staff was pleasant, attentive, and the food was extremely excellent! It was great to have a few vegetation options. Absolutely recommend.
Wonderful experience. Fresh and tasty pasta, and amazing ingredients/products overall. Really good selection of wines. The octopus super fresh and properly cooked. The fregola, hand made. 10 points. Pistachio ice cream with olive oil? Game changer. And the staff were all welcoming and friendly. Excellent service. Highly recommended.
Everything in this shop is of the highest quality. Fruit and vegetables are amazing, the selection of wine is superb. Add bread, cheese, charcuterie, pasta, olive oil and vinegar, and the freshest pasta made on site by their lovely Sardinian chef, follow his cooking instructions and you will turn your kitchen into a ristorante. We bought freshly made Culurgiones and tomato sauce this morning and just had it for lunch. Amazing! All made by the wonderful Sardinian Chef who told us how to cook it perfectly. Also bought beautiful vegetables and wine. As we can't travel anywhere at the moment when we enter the shop we feel like we are transported to all the different regions in Italy by the lovely friendly staff. Looking forward to our next trip already!
