We visited the shop and cafe last week with my daughter...and loved it! They have such a lovely, warm and welcoming atmosphere there. The deco is interesting and beautiful, but most importantly their home made cakes were delicious! There was also food on the menu that suited my young daughter. I look forward to our next visit and am hoping to be able to attend one of their classes in the future.
I've done several sewing classes with Love Handmade and really couldn't praise the experiences highly enough. Tuition is kind, friendly and patient and classes are well planned. So lovely to spend time being creative with like minded people.
A delightful place to come and browse/seek advice and of course buy fabric and haberdashery items/ also workshops are available too. The shop is staffed with really lovely and helpful ladies. Also must must must mention the delightful tea/coffee and cakes on offer too. Make this shop a priority on your shopping list!!
Love it here, everything you could ask for! Great tea, coffee and cake. Warm and welcoming staff and a fabulous selection of fabrics and haberdashery! Great classes and groups to, something for all sewers and crafters. Really do love this place!
I love this place, you can relax and watch the world go by while having a coffee and slice of delicious homemade cake,reading craft magazines then spend time browsing through the well stocked shop that is full of beautiful fabrics and haberdashery. Very friendly and welcoming staff that have the time to give you old fashioned personel service, help and advice. Lots of courses and activitity groups to join in, just what Lincoln needs. A must visit for all sewers and crafters.
Well I might be a little biased....but this little shop has changed my life again!! Who knew when we came back from New Zealand in April that 3 months later we would be helping the lovely Kay and Sandra to open this very special little shop. It caters for both sewers and crafters and there is even a knitting social twice a month. What more could you want? Oh yes Coffee and cake!! That's there as well. Lovely coffee from the York Coffee Emporium and homemade cakes. Superb!!
Have been on a few courses now and throughly enjoyed every one. The people are lovely and the cakes are delicious. The staff can't do enough for you. Have a fun day every time.

Brilliant place,loved the lounge pant class I went to,staff are really friendly and knowledgeable,nice cake in the cafe too
Great classes would recommend them to anyone interested in sewing. Teaching is really helpful too.
