Regrettably, a significant number of retail units were unoccupied, a common observation in many shopping centers. Aside from this, the premises were maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and order. Convenient access to both the car park and bus services is readily available, and a lift is provided for individuals with disabilities to facilitate movement from the car park to the retail level. The restroom facilities are impeccably clean, well-maintained, and strategically located in close proximity to the bus station.
The lassy in Holland & Barrett so helpful , the Belhaven was really yummy and reasonable for food and drink , easy parking stunning view on the river and the history of the city is amazing
Really disappointing visit to the Loreburne Centre in Dumfries. The security staff came across as quite miserable and unfriendly, and didn’t seem interested in helping at all. We were told to leave for riding down the escalators twice and back up, which felt a bit over the top given how minor it was and saying it would break down what an utter lie!nnAlso, there isn’t much variety in the shops—felt quite limited and not very exciting to walk around. Overall, not the best experience and probably wouldn’t rush back.
A few decent shops but nothing to make an excuse of taking a day out for. Dumfries highstreet is unfortunately losing much of its retail opportunities and the center is a perfect example of this. Small, inconstant and not worth the travel
I like it here, I'm not a fan of huge shopping centres with thousands of people everywhere, yes, it's a bit bare with a few empty units, but it's got a nice feel about it. I love Dumfries in general too, everyone seems so friendly and helpful, even the kids, which is rare!
