We are relatively new to Middleton. And finding such a good traditional Butcher in the town, is just the cherry on the Cake, We have had several steaks, chops, pies, Ribs even had Liver for the first time in 10 years. All perfect.
Had the Tomahawk steak a few weeks ago. Absolutely gorgeous and luxurious. Just had their Dexter T bone steak and it was FIT! So so tasty. Great butchers!!
Good butchers, a bit pricey but good. However depending on what you get, the meat isn't always fresh sometimes depending on what you're after and when you visit. So you'll go down on a Saturday and they only get one delivery a week in for beef on the monday, so there's been times I've gone to use the beef a day or 2 later and it's smelt off. Everything else is great though just the beef. Any wild meats like rabbit, duck and pheasant you have to order in which I'll be sure to try one day.
I've always gone to buy my steaks and lamb, it's the best. This weekend I tried the kebabs for my guests and everyone of my guests enjoyed them. They were so tasty will be going for more.
Good local store with good opening times, can get busy at peak times.
Bought 3 fillet steaks from there today. Quality of meat was 5 star and customer service was the same. Was impressed with the sticker attached to say how long to cook the steak from rare to well done. Price was very good as well for size of steak. Would definitely go again and recommend thrpe fillet steak. Thanks
Great family butcher. I've been using them for years. Quality of meat is top notch. I would recommend them all the time. Through lock down they were fantastic doing home deliveries.
VERY,VERY,HIGH PRICES,SAUSAGES SAID PORK,NEVER SEEN PORK,ALL I COULD TASTE WAS BREAD,RUMP STEAK WAS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO EAT,GOT SOME MINCED SKIRT,HAVE NOT YET TRIED IT,BUT WILL LET YOU KNOW.
This year 2014 we decided to have rib of beef for New Years Eve Dinner for ourselves and our guests. The joint of six ribs that Lords of Middleton supplied was perfectly hung to our specifications, expertly trimmed and agreed by all our guests and ourselves to be the best piece of beef we have ever eaten, and we have eaten a lot of beef over the years. The service from Lords was also exemplary, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. We cannot recommend Lords too highly. Thank you so much.
My husband has known these two brothers since middle school, they’ve always continued the highest quality of produce from back in the day when their grand parents/parents run the business. Never feeling rushed & always have time for a chat.
