Visiting Looe for a trip and train a the best way to travel here. Beautiful town and beautiful station wide open. Beautiful views of river. Good service and staff in train was very helpful.
Lovely little seaside town that is swamped during the summer and Bank Holiday weekendsnnGood array of pubs, shops, pastys, chops and ice cream
Loo is a lovley place to visit but and it's a big but I won't be going back again,nAll the places in Cornwall that want you to visit charge extortionate prices to park on there car parks and when you come to pay there technology let's you down as the machines then break and only one is working in the whole of the car park and a great big queue wating to use the only one.nAnd I know its the council who put the charges on the car parks so shame on younAnd also another picky thing toilets as if you are bot making enough money with car park charges you then to proceed and make a 20p charge to use them and you can only pay by card I don't have a card and I needed to use the facility lovley enough a lady took 20p off me begrudgingly so I could go which takes away my choices of cash or card.
Staying in Looe, a regular trip. Holidays here since childhood, now with my husband , twice a year. Easter and Remembrance Weekend, sharing accommodation between 2 establishments. Beautiful town. Friendly locals, with just one establishment we've visited over the years. Pub accommodation this weekend, as usual. Highly recommended. Returning next year, of course.
Fabulous place to visit and I absolutely loved it. There is something for everyone and is a must visit if you are in the area. One word of caution, car parking in the more than ample car park is expensive.
