I have been to this post office twice in the last week I don’t usually use it because in the past I have found the staff to be so rude. I thought I would give it another go wish I hadn’t only one member of staff on the post office one on the front till the queue was all round the shop. I found the first woman on the till to be so rude to ppl and the one on the post office counter very condescending very abrupt and so common with no appropriate skills of how to speak to ppl. The queue was all round the shop the person in front of me she was awful too because they had mistake on the form they were handing in. I got to the counter and cudnt believe it she sat there drinking a cup of tea talking to someone in the back. Absolutely terrible rude staff
You go up to the counter to be told it’s shut and to wait there until the counter as you come in has served somebody? The woman then sat behind the screens doing nothing this is 10 in the morning , the queue was getting bigger and bigger , then when you finally get served there so rude , I dread when I have to go in there , fenton is much nicer and there all pleasant in fenton , they need to have a course in customer service in longton
I went in to exchange my driving license expecting the worst after going through a lot of comments here but actually got the opposite.i was served with a great smile.the ladies there had a good cheerful character...

Went into renew my drivers licence, quick, efficient and friendly staff.
Went in today and what a contrast between the 2 staff members, the lady who served me was extremely helpful whereas the other lady with the red/brown hair was so rude to all other customers and the Royal Mail guy that arrived he received both barrells for something that was outside his control. One lady in the queue said she felt nervous about being served. Awful person to have as a customer facing person, in particular when a lot of folk are elderly and deserve respect at all times.
The staff were very rude, was not helpful at all waste off time.
I have visited this post office a few times, and to be honest I am not impressed by the staff behind the post office counter. Today I went to buy a couple of stamps, and the lady in front of my was trying to sort out something she needed to send off and provide proof of ID. The lady behind the counter was very abrupt and rude, everyone in the shop could hear. Then another lady behind the counter came and continued the conversation, again she was very abrupt and rude. They advised the lady that what she had done was wrong and she would need to do it again, then threw her driving licences back under the counter at her. This lady was clearly shocked, I am not sure if they were nasty because this lady was not white, but there was no need for the way they were. I actually spoke to this lady outside the shop and she was quite upset by the way they had treated her. Clearly whomever is in charge of this branch needs to ensure the two ladies working behind the counter undergo some customer relationship training, I thought the way they treated this lady was disgusting.
