Absolutely loved our week here. Sally the owner couldn’t be more accommodating despite being busy and her staff all had a smile and welcome too. Everything was clean and well maintained. The Alpacas are the cutest things ever and the sheep even like a rub behind the ears. Will definitely be back. My disabled son wasn’t able to take part in the normal alpaca walk as he can’t walk to far but this wasn’t a problem as they arranged for us to walk them around the field which my son and myself absolutely loved. Both my boys are asking when we’re coming back again. Great place, great team and great facilities.

Just returned from a great 5 days, could not have been better, friendly helpful staff, modern clean toilet/showers. We had the added bonus of very warm weather, dawn chorus from Monkey World, no alarm clock needed, great to have Alpaca's and Sheep oh and a Horse to greet us every morning. Thank You, we will be back.

Fantastic place to stay,Very polite Helpfull staff.Very clean toilets and showers,Shop to buy some things.Place to eat as well burgers and chips and a little bar.Outside of fields for Motor homes, Caravans and Tents.All centre off fields are for kids to play. information hut for local thing to see and do,1 field away from Monkey world.

Stayed here last summer and loved it! The staff were very helpful and friendly, the site very clean with suitable facilties. Will certainly be staying here again should I be in the area!

Nice campsite with free showers and regularly cleaned bathrooms. I did find the odd toilet that was left very dirty for a few days but apart from that they're great, with no spiders or wasps inside! Sheltered washing up stations and campers fridge and freezer and a small shop and bar. They do alpaca walking, which is nice but only lasts 5 or so minutes. Drinking water taps situated around the site too. There is walking access to Monkey World and you can hear gibbons singing (and the occasional chimp fight) throughout the day. There is a nice woodland walk near a stream and if you're lucky (and quiet) you might spot some deer. It's the first time I've seen a wild deer and it was a lovely experience for me. There is a shed near the entrance with some books and toys to borrow, and some helpful leaflets about the area. Best and most comfortable campsite I've ever been to. Although keep in mind that you'll have tanks keeping you awake at 10pm and sometimes machine guns and bombs at 5am. Should be alright if you're a heavy sleeper.
