Visited this place for brunch on a Saturday morning with a friend. Large car park and plenty of outside seating, perfect for a summer’s morning. The greeting by a young lady was very pleasant and professional. My pal had the sausage sandwich, I opted for the bacon sandwich both on white, thick sliced bloomer which was fresh and tasty, plenty of bacon on mine. We were served at the table by an extremely well dressed lady by the name of Sarah, turns out she’s a manager. Service was swift, polite and professional. Well worth a visit. Parking: Don’t forget to enter your car reg on arrival to avoid being sent a hefty charge!
A nice treat as a vegan! Classic pub grub as a vegan can be hard to come by but it was such a nice surprise to have a vegan lasagne in a pub, not to mention a good-tasting one! Fries were great too and it was a bonus treat to have such a delicious vegan dessert on the menu too! Great value and portion sizes - particularly the cheesecake! For £15 for three courses, I was pretty blown away by the quality. My ONLY request would be more vegan starters - namely the breaded mushrooms which apparently have egg in the batter could easily be vegan!. That said, the staff were so friendly and accommodating in checking the ingredients for us. Vegetarian options: Nice options for vegans! Dietary restrictions: Nice options for vegans!
Booked in for a family meal on Mother's Day. Pub is really nice inside, very clean, nice atmosphere with a lovely fire burning. Food and drinks were ordered at the table through the app and drinks came soon after with not much of a wait for the starters which were all lovely; serving staff were really pleasant. I ordered the Sunday Roast Duo for main meal so both turkey and beef with pigs in blankets, there was a good amount of tasty food but I did ask for more gravy which was brought to me promptly. The rest of family thought it was decent pub food but felt the vegetarian options were a little limited. Toilets were kept very clean. Overall a lovely meal out, would happily go again.
Wonderful experience today at the Longhorn. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Helpful service from Ruby and Iza, behind the bar. Would highly recommend the Sea Bass. Thanks again! Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options
We Stopped off for a bite to eat early evening as we were returning home after a few days away. The staff were very pleasant & there was plenty of choice of where to sit but the food was rather disappointing, we ordered half a chicken in a hot sauce & salmon fishcakes, we expected the chicken to be a chicken cut in half but instead it was 2 smallish chicken portions & the hot sauce was just a marinade on the chicken which wasn't hot in taste. The chips were bland & the garden peas were mostly uncooked & hard. We should have gone to The Bell on the Walsall Rd it's also an Ember Inn but the food there is always consistently good,
Always drive past on my way home from work but never went in. Decided to try it and had a pint Lovely clean pub Service was excellent And a lovely pint Sat outside in the sun

Went here for a bite to eat and a drink with my son and his girlfriend. Lovely hot summers day. We sat outside. Ordered drinks at the bar then perused the menu. Ordered food. Service was good. The food arrived in about 15 mins. Food was well priced for what it was. Staff were polite and helpful.Food: 3/5
Absolutely appalling Visited Sunday around 2pm and the queue for the bar was down right ridiculous! Been here a couple of times on a Sunday and it’s always the same, the two poor bar staff were try their bests, but when everyone is ordering multiple meals and drinks it’s very time consuming, get an extra member of staff just for the bar and who knows they could possibly clear a table or two of plates and glasses! 15 minutes to get a drink is unacceptable! So we then decide what we are going to eat, again a 15 minute wait! At one point a couple of managers came out to help, the male guy shouted, who’s next when clearly everyone was in a queue and was genuinely just going to serve a random person! My husband ordered chicken wings as he wasn’t overly hungry and I ordered the duo Sunday lunch, the girl on the counter asked if we wanted both at the same time, yes he replied. 20 minutes later the wings came, absolutely no problem with that length of time, we waited for the dinner to come and nothing! We asked a girl who’d bought out a Sunday lunch to an old lady sat behind us, she ordered after us, she said she’d check, she never returned!!!! 20/30/40 minutes later I had enough so I told my husband to go and get a refund and we’d go elsewhere!! The female manager’s attitude was appallinglady with tattoos , firstly saying if it had been on the note they would have came out together, my husband pointed out that he was asked and said yes, the manager then said we all make mistakes, my husband agreed with her but said after 15/20 even 30 minutes wouldn’t you have come and checked we were finished with the starter?! A couldn’t care less attitude was the response and then said it was just being plated up, no was the simple answer as others who ordered way after us had had their dinners bought over, so it was just a blatant lie as she hadn’t even checked!! It’s such a shame they don’t staff this pub correctly and train their managers to treat customers with respect as the pub is a wonderful looking place!
Excellent service, nothing too much trouble, lovely quiet table. Place was warm and comfortable, decor is lovely. Great selection on the menu. Food was fantastic, good portions, cooked to perfection, hot and tasty. Definitely come again. Parking: Onsite free parking.
