Ordered breakfast, it arrived at lunch time. Wouldn't have been a problem, but there was only 1 other table in there. 35 minutes for a full English and poached eggs. 

I think the chef has problems counting too, the 3 rashers of bacon turned out to be 2 bits of burnt cardboard.

My partners poached eggs were like squash balls, cold and rubbery.

The guy that served us was the most uncharismatic dude on the planet.

Ah well, avoid.

I go early morning before work while its quiet. I enjoy the pnq here before the stresses of work.

Inconsistent. Service is poor, chef can only cook a dish at a time, runny scrambled eggs (like rice pudding). Much better in the Grainger market - they evidently can't sustain two sites

Had breakfast there, which was very nice.
A little pricey, but worth it, very friendly staff.

I have visited both cafes and had great service in them. I recently visited the cafe they have in the Grainger Market Newcastle. Fantastic stock of records that are being refreshed with new stock all the time. On this visit I bought three LPs not only was the price fantastic the conversation from the person serving me at the till was also engaging. They also offered to clean my records free of charge. 
I was delighted and took them up on there offer. 
I walked away very pleased with me records and also the pleasant helpful service I received. Highly recommended.
