Charming little Swedish cafe with friendly staff. You can sit in or take out, and the lunch options are very varied and, as far as I've tried, tasty!
Stopped here for breakfast on our travels after a stay in Newcastle central. Food was delicious, well priced and freshly hand made to order. Can recommend both the brie, apple and walnut sandwich as well as the Swedish waffles. Jonathan the owner is very friendly and had some great information for us about the region and our next stops. Thank you.
Fantastic coffee and an open top sandwich. Very nice place.
Great view of Tyne, coffee is good and sandwiches are perfect. Very good value for money and polite staff. The place is usually quite, and I would definitely recommend for a quick bite or a casual business lunch. Pastries are also offered, and they look good.
I went here today just on the off chance that they sold bagels and OMG bagels they do sell indeed! I ordered a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel which was absolutely UNREAL. I was a little bit put off by the price of £4.50 but when I got to work and opened this little package of beauty It was worth every single penny presentation was second to none and it’s definitely thee best tasting bagel I have ever had! Customer service from the young girl on the counter was amazing too! Keep up the good work guys I will definitely be back.........
Good coffee and a nice cinnamon bun. There have a good selection of light food which is not run of the mill fare. If you want something a bit different from the usual coffee shop fare then this is a good place. The location is good as well with an excellent view of the quayside and river
I came across this cafe/deli today after a trip to the quayside with my daughter. We ordered a tuna & cucumber sandwich in a ciabatta a cappuccino & a hot chocolate. Very reasonably priced food & drinks would definitely go back again & highly recommend to all. Really friendly & helpful staff pure little jem of a find
I was introduced to. This Swedish Gem on the Quayside earlier today by a good friend . I had the Bacon brie and lingonberry Panini. It's one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. The home baked cakes and pastries are wonderful . I would recommend this Deli to anyone especially lovers of Nordic and Scandinavian food. Can't wait for my next visit
Had a bacon ciabatta and cup of tea today, really nice cafe with good value and lovely spot on the quayside! Lovely food, great brew, and really friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Slightly different menu to the traditional deli but has an excellent range of healthy sandwiches, open sandwiches and salads. Serves locally ground coffee by OCC which is a nice touch.
