Lou is very knowledgeable and can recommend exactly what you need. Whether you're running a marathon, or you're a new runner, she's got the right recommendations to keep you running. I only went there because of the reviews and it's evident that she takes her time with each customer tailoring to their needs.

What a great shop. Lou the owner knows her stuff. A relaxed and very knowledgeable space. As someone who truly dislikes shopping and gets quite anxious I felt comfortable, heard and found the perfect running shoes with no fuss...absolute belter! Thank you, Lou! Cannot recommend this local gem enough  x

Fantastic service from a lovely woman. She seemed knowledgeable without being condescending, which as a newish runner was much appreciated. She helped me put a few shoes through their paces with gait analysis on the treadmill. I’m looking forward to trying my new shoes on a proper run. Thank you!

Fabulous running shoe shop! I dropped in to arrange a gait analysis and Lou had me straight on the treadmill testing out different shoes and checking my gait/form. Highly knowledgeable and explained why my previous go-to shoe had become uncomfortable, because of how the manufacturer had changed the shoe over the years. Very friendly, efficient and comprehensive service which I couldn’t recommend more highly! Will be back for some cross country spikes in the autumn ‍ ‍

Great local run shop, the owner, Lou, is absolutely fantastic. She gave me a run analysis and really took the time to help me find the right shoe. She even let me trial 3 pairs over the space of a few weeks! I would really recommend going here to buy anything sports related. I can't thank you enough Lou!

I never had a good relationship with running always getting discomfort and pain but gave it another go last summer and went to LCR for a shoe fit. I really felt taken care of and tried on 3 pairs with supervision and analysis and am super happy with what I was recommended. Have done heaps and heaps of 5ks with these and will be doing my first 10k in a month. Highly recommend!

Recommended by my Islington podiatrist and did not disappoint! Great service and gait assessment- left with a VERY comfortable pair of Brooks trainers. Highly recommend!

I’d been running for a month or so and wanted to invest in some good shoes to invest in the habit and came here, chatted to Lou, and it was fantastic. She was so helpful and reassuring- answered all my questions. She really knows her stuff and has a wonderful selection and care. Highly recommend.
