Bought one of their Beerenberg Roll Neck Oiled Wool Pullovers a couple of years ago - it is wonderful - a proper, heavy, warm "Captain Birdseye/Submarine crew style jumper of the sort you just can't find elsewhere. It's still looking great and feels like it will last many years yet - get yourself one before the next cold snap.
Quirky place that always provides my dad with what he is looking for. Fantastic place to buy rope.
An oasis of classic chandlery. A real gem for those of us with a traditional sailing orientation. Always very friendly and helpful staff happy to let you browse. Great book selection. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice people. I caught in the rain today so my paper bag broke and all my stuff fell out. I happened to pass by Arthur Beale and decided to ask them if I could buy a plastic bag. The lady gave me one for free. It really saved my life! I would like to say thank you, and I will definitely come to Arthur Beale if I need ropes.
