Good food but tiny portions. The service is horrible! The waitress was foul, miserable and made us feel like we had interrupted her day. She also messed up our order and tried to make us pay for food we hadn't ordered. I would highly recommend not eating at this place, too much choice in the area, plenty of places that won't make you feel so unwelcome.
The waitress had way too much attitude and was super rude. Took our order down wrong and became cranky over her own mistake. Had to wait AGES for our meal to come. Think we'd know what we had ordered if we are allergic to certain things!! The food was average when it did finally make it to our table. Much much better Spanish places in Brixton. Would help not to be rude to your customers and if you are rude feed them such extraordinary food that they wouldn't be able to complain.
We had a very uncomfortable experience. My daughters and I had eaten our main and my husband's was still not out of the kitchen, no apology or mention of it. Also we were told we couldn't have the table we wanted as it was booked, then another party came in and just sat there with nothing said by the staff. Portions are seriously tiny and expensive. I prefer La Rueda for Spanish fare.
would not recommend. Took ages for the tapas to come out individually to a group of 4 and the vegetarian had to wait until the very end for hers to arrive. Service not great either- had to re order my drink 3 times before it arrived.. food small and underwhelming
Great menu, really outstanding food and wine especially for the value, the service is pretty casual and friendly and the decor is nice but it almost feels like you are in someones living room. Really brilliant for a relaxed meal.
This is Penélope Cruz in a tapas restaurant. Stylish and sensational. Devilish and delicious. Chic white chairs. Chic white walls. Flashes of red. Flashes of brilliance. The décor is simple and the tapas are sensational. The crispy aubergine is to die for. The octopus is to live for. The rice pudding is all to play for. Thankfully there are authentic Hispanic places like Lola Rojo that remind us that La Tasca is the butchered Spanish equivalent of a quarter pounder with cheese.
Nice restaurant in a cute neighborhood. We enjoyed the Paella! Quite pricy if you choose to eat Tapas.
One of the best experiences with Spanish tapas. Inexpensive. Friendly service. Try Sunday lunch menu!
Delicious. Reasonably-priced lunch menu. Bright lighting though!
Really disappointed with food, have been before but last night the food was really poor. Won't go again.
