Casa Brindisa

Story

Casa is our family style restaurant in Exhibition square located next to London’s most prestigious museums and galleries. True to it’s name Casa is famous for rustic Spanish homely cooking.

From lunch on our tranquil terrace to late night suppers, nuestra casa es tu casa (our home is your home).

Brindisa, founded in 1988 by Monika Linton, comes from the Spanish brindis, which means to ‘raise your glass’ in celebration. We started over 28 years ago as a salute to the real, artisan food of Spain.

In 2004 we moved from warehouse to table with the opening our first restaurant, ‘Tapas Brindisa’, in Borough Market. Since then we have opened five bustling tapas bars and family restaurants across London.

nice food and service. we were served by the waitress who we don't know her name but her hair is a bit dyed pink. she serves us well and recommend some nice dishes. the octopus and the shrimp are must order, so yummy!Food: 5/5
One of my favorite Spanish spots in London! I've been here several times, and it never disappoints. The gambas al ajillo are always a highlight – juicy, garlicky, and full of flavor. The croquetas are crispy perfection, and the Spanish tortilla hits the spot every time. Also, the chorizo is a must-try – smoky, rich, and pairs wonderfully with the rest of the dishes. Good selection of wines. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service make it a great place to relax and enjoy some authentic tapas. Definitely recommend for anyone craving a taste of Spain in London!
Very lively & vibrant place to hang out over a drink & tapas on a summer evening and we were seated outside at the Al fresco area. The bar tender Jose was very friendly & I have 2 cocktails called Verano Verde which h was awesome. We were a big group & the staff were attentive. The food was great & each of us manage 2-3 items to share @ o really love the gambas, squid ink paella, grilled octopus.
Relaxing. Delicious. Worth the price. I usually avoid restaurants close to tourist attractions, but I was pleasantly surprised! The food was great - definitely get one of the veggie sides with it or it gets a bit heavy. Refreshing fresh squeezed juice; I was not drinking when I went but the table next to me loved the house rosé and the reds.
Had an exceptional lunch there today. Was fully booked but managed to fit us in at the bar area. The service from the staff behind the bar was impeccable. Friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic. We had about 7 dishes check the photos and were both nice and full by the end of it. Standouts were the chorizo and pork belly. The prawns were great too. Pro tip, dip the bread on both sides into the prawn/gambas sauce after you finish the prawns. It was heavenly. All dishes were quality. Great and authentic tapas in south Ken.
Very nice place to eat delicious tapas, fast service which makes you understand most of it is microwaved but I believe that’s the only think you can do when you have a lot of potatoes in the menu wouldn’t be possible to cook it a la minute. Fair price co suffering the portions and the location, we have paied an average of 20£per person with 8 tapas plus service charge which I consider fair Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the ground floor so not many issue but the place is small
All tasty food, we liked Octopus dish and Patatas Bravas. Restaurant was quite muggy inside on the day we visited. Outside tables or front tables may be a better option in a hot summer day! will come back on a less hot day!Food: 4/5
Good Afternoon dear people hope you are having a lovely day! It’s raining in London, but I kind of like it. It soothes me right now. Anyway, I know I have been super busy and traveling and have so many reviews to do. Here is a quick review that I just recently went. It is a Spanish Tapas in South Kensington and here are my thoughts. Let me start with the timing since I didn’t have a reservation it took about 35 minutes to be seated. Keep that in mind since weekends are busy. Started with a drink, Sangria wine with fruits and it was lovely and refreshing. The dish I absolutely LOVED it’s called Huevos Rotos, potatoes and egg with roasted vegetables and delicious Mallorcan pig sobrasada! This was beyond my expectations! Must try! The potatoes are by far one of the best I Have Ever Tried! The combo is so different and it melts in your mouth! The second dish it’s called Ajo Blanco chargrilled hispi cabbage with chestnut, almond and garlic cream! I liked this as well. Only maybe tiny bit more to cook it so it has more texture and bite to it. Next one it’s something I was skeptical about, but nicely surprised. Garbanzos beans with tomato sauce and crunchy nuts and shredded egg was so delicious. The beans were perfectly cooked.I dislike so much when they undercook the beans so bravo! Croquetas de Jamon were super tasty and crunchy outside. Patatas Bravas were Average , cut too big and the Garlic Alioli had way too much Garlic! Dear Chef this is big NO! I would get rid of this dish completely. Drum roll please …well now we talk about the Pork Dish! Since I come from the land where we are called, “The Meat Scientists”, sorry if you are Vegan I must tell you honestly what I think about the pork dish. It was very delicious in general, lovely mix of flavors but unable to chew the meat at all! Which made me frustrated! The big beans were also so hard and undercooked! So dear Chef, PLEASE FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY! I will come back again and I hope you make me Happy!
Had delicious tapas and wonderful wine. Excellent service, letting us try 2 different wines before choosing bottle! The menu and wine list are exceptional, always try the specials and go with the waitress recommendations- they know!! Ok, so it's not the cheapest meal you're going to get but it will be one of the best. Lovely atmosphere too.
Small but amazing place ,service was excellent , and the food was awesome we just kept ordering more . We had arrived early after an exhibition at the V&A, they were super accomodating , as we were celebrating a birthday, all went smoothly from drinks to food, nothing was impossible This will be one of our summer locations to eat.Looking forward to our next visit
