Me and my friends booked a VIP Table at Lola Lo Cambridge. I was pleasantly surprised with how easy and quick it was to make the booking with the lovely Faith who answered all our questions quickly! The night was a success, we were greeted by the lovely hostess who took us to our table, then introduced to the waitress..she was so helpful when it came to selecting our drinks (Which we enjoyed very much!) Music was great, big variety for all to enjoy! Staff had great customer service skills too! Can't wait to come back to Lola Lo again very soon. Definitely the best nightclub experience in Cambridge! Thank you team lola lo :)

Some servers are nice, others try charging you silly amounts for a drink because they think you are drunk/can't read a menu. Twice last night I went to order a drink and when I went to pay contactless they upped the price to double that it originally was. I was the designated driver, so no drinking, usually places like to reward this, Lola Los tries to charge you twice the price for a drink because they think they might get away with it. Outrageous. Other than that, djs are sub par most of the time, and bouncers are bullys. You can also tell they massively under serve with their units of alcohol. Go up and order 5 jägerbombs and you would be lucky to get two shots of jäger, same with everything else.

Lola Los, supposedly an ideal place to relax casually in a Polynesian setting. Alas, this is not the case. Upon arriving with my compatriots to the club, the first problem we faced was that the staff had suddenly decided to enforce a rather strict dress code. Seemingly, if one wishes to chill out in a tropical setting, they need to be wearing formal attire. Secondly, although the website clearly stated that on Friday nights U18s are perfectly welcome, the club changed their mind for this evening. I had made it but two paces into the club when I was suddenly informed I had to leave as it had been decided the night was now for U21s only. Upon inquiring about this decision, a rather large man stated that he was the owner and that "at the end of the day" he decided the rules and could do what he likes. To my comrades who did make it into the venue, they reported that there were no more than 15 people inside, which raises questions as to why it would suddenly be decided that only over 21s would be allowed in. The response from the owner was outright disgusting, not even apologizing for his sudden change in the rules, and it is certainly not appropriate for a supposedly relaxed venue. I would not advise anyone under 21 to post their review just in case our manager friend suddenly decides to change the rules on a whim.

We thought the entry was free but it was 5 pound, the guy was nice and only made us pay 4 (per Person) to get in. Then we asked where was the menu for unexpensive drinks that we where promised at the entrance and the barman said we had to buy a 4 pound card in addition to get special prices so one of us bought one and payed for everybody else, though without the card you could get cheap drinks too (we wanted The 2,.. pounds cocktails). Starting form there the party could start. The music is like everywhere else but they made the effort to put foreign music from time to time as it was international party. I did'nt have any particular problems I am used to much worst treatments in France but we never pay to get in specialy as Girls. But I gieß our drinks are way more expensive so in the enfin it is the Same? I just need to say if you come at 22h30 like us, well you will have to sait a bit for people to get in. Also I would have very much liked the rooftop if it wasn't raining (english weather is terrible). They should cover it a bit ! It would have been a great place to talk and have some fresh air. In the end we spent about 15 pounds per Person and we had about 4 drinks each.
