I try never to complain but this place is ridiculous! - My daughter who is 2 has not been well and I have been waiting in the telephone queue now for over an hour. Really is it that hard to recruit more staff to answer the telephone? Also might I add that when I have the displeasure of having to visit Lodge Health unfortunately my wife registered our daughter here they are locked up like fort knox. They don't like to answer the door and treat you like you have the great plague. We have wonderful staff turning up to do a great job at the local supermarkets and shops but a health centre is still in lockdown?...Please get yourselves sorted, I have never been as angry. Might I say that I am with the other medical centre and have had excellent experiences with them. I am considering moving my daughter to my surgery. **Update - 1 hour and 10 minutes later when I got through to the receptionist she was very pleasant and helpful however this does not excuse a poorly run essential facility!
Elderly relative discharged from hospital to home and under care of GP. Impossible to get in touch with GP to discuss urgent medical problem.When i do manage to speak to a receptionist they are particularly unhelpful. It’s no wonder patient readmissiona to hospital are at an all time high. If GP would do their job hospital beds would be freed up. I am a health professional and this practice is shambolic
Remained at home all day hoping to secure reasonably important appointments for my wife and I. Used both mobile and landline. Called clinic both numbers from opening time always engaged. Tried email but rejected. At 4.45pm got reply from very direct member of staff. Got last appointment of day for my wife. Told to try tomorrow for second appointment. Must have been extremely busy when all phones were engaged all day in response to regular checks. Otherwise the doctors are fine when you see them. If they need more resources I am sure a case could be made.
32 attempts to contact the surgery. Eventually get through to be told a doctor would ring me back that was two days ago. I have tried without fail to get through since. Had to use phone first service. Only issue now is I have to wait and trust that a doctor will actually read my hospital letter and acti9n accordingly. Considering changing practices.
I was in the treatment room today with my grandson who was having blood taken for allergy tests. The nurse, sorry I don't know your name, was absolutely brilliant with him! He is 8 years old and quite squeamish and she put him at ease and was just lovely with him. Thank you!
Called in today @ was very impressed with professional helpful receptionist. But after Clear Pharmacy van from Waterside chemist nearly ran into me coming out car park unsure now. Don't want to have nightmare car park of Mountsandel surgery to feel with!
Doctors are excellent but impossible to get an appointment. Spent 10 hours on the phone over 4 days.
Ridiculous waiting time to get through on the phone,always over an hour.Phones always engaged.This is not acceptable in the 21st century.Employ more people to answer the phones,its not brain surgery!
Worst practice I've ever encountered what a joke they are a private practice milking the nhs and letting their patients down with a substandard service shame on you
