Story

Lockwood Animal Hospital is owned by Graham Parlane and we are based in Willenhall, West Midlands.

Gemma Williams BvetMed MRCVS is our head Veterinary Surgeon and specialises in internal medicine,Dinali O'Hara MRCVS is our Veterinary Surgeon. Head Veterinary Nurse is Laura Bailey and our Nursing/ support staff -Jade Humpage, Stephanie Lloyd, Sharon Padmore-Mason, Danielle Pope, Emily Lewis, Tammy Baugh, Charlotte Stokes, Leah FLetcher. Practice Management Staff are Jean Bates, Julie Woodcock and Josh Smith.

We are a friendly practice with your pets best interest at heart.

All the staff are wonderful,very helpful whenever we go in or phone for tablets etc,niomi who was on reception when we went in was very professional,she went through our pet plan and explained everything to us.

I'm going to be honest I read reviews I was on fence of going here. But my dog Dash has chronic anxiety & when he got done was advised by vets. If needed to have surgery or sedation again to warn vets he does not settle in a vet cage at all good very restless & high risk of injury & he got sent home hour & half after surgery as he was so unsettled & going to hurt himself! So he needed to be sedated for his claws cut so I wanted somewhere as near to me as possible I had to options got two quotes granted Lockwood was the highest quote! But it very close to me & can get there quick if needed. So I booked him in to be sedated/asleep & claws cut. They asked me on the morning if I would like to stay with him in a room thet had put a blanket in for him & I coudl stay with him for whole procedure to make it less stressful for Dash. Got to give credit where its due vets/nurses I saw where so friendly, helpful & can not than them enough for what they did for my boy by letting me stay he woke up to me sat next to him on floor wagging his tail happier & less stressed & anxious cause I was still there. Also he didn't get to on edge he just wanted to go home. Thank you lockwood staff for making my boys claws the most possible settled comforting way it could be for him. Received great customer service.
Took my 4 month old puppy for her 2nd check up flea/worm check.. I was absolutely disgusted as the Nurse never got up off her chair to look at my dog. I had to weigh her myself.Got charged £20 for the tablets, which could have been cheaper anywhere. I thought the whole point in registering with a vets. Was for them to at least make sure your pets are healthy and in good health. Needless to say, I’m cancelling my account with them. And WILL GO TO A VETS WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO DO A JOB THAT MEANS GETTING OFF YOUR CHAIR AND LOOK AT PEOPLES PETS. Awful practice. GOODBYE
Fantastic vets & nurses, friendly & caring and always have the animals' best interests at heart.
Perfect place for 1st opinion small animal practice
The staff are always friendly and helpful. Sadly we recently had to have our elderly pet put down, nothing else could be done for him after a life long medical condition. We were given lots of time to say goodbye and he was well cared for.
