Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman

Council Tax department purely and utterly incompetent: overcharging, not answering, ignoring complaints, taking months to 'solve' the issue, never apologising... The minimum as a civil servant is to be at least courteous if you can't be efficient and actually solve your own mistakes in an efficient manner. Ombudsman simply decided NOT to investigate, how convenient for Westminster City Council and how non-helpful to the tax-payer

This organisation is set up to protect councils I was left unsupported for nearly 20 years which led to court proceeding against me and LGO refuses to acknowledge the fact I was unsupported and keeps saying that they can't deal with the details of a court case! I informed them I understand Shropshire Council can not put my life as it would have been if I received support so the only option is compensation as they are responsible for my life being absolutely destroyed!

42 years dudley council researched as the worst borough in the uk has been killing me. Been trying to get this lot to investigate them for 2 years come up with every legal loopholes not to. Terrible ex council employees covering up for their former colleagues and still friends.
