CDC consists of 48 councillors representing 16 wards (3 members per ward). The council is made of 38 Conservative, 8 Labour and 2 Independent councillors.

Story

Cherwell District Council is part of three-tier local authority structure and is based at Bodicote House near Banbury, Oxfordshire.

A third of the councillors are up for election every year, with a county council election taking place on the fourth year. Each councillor is elected for a four-year term.

Waste of time. They will NOT help you sort out the problems with the noisy, abusive, and damn rude threatening neighbours, neither the police- have been advised to move elsewhere!

Worst council department in the entire United Kingdom. When always trying to call, line always goes to voicemail, the officers themselves are arrogant and pig headed - never willing to help out. Seriously need to improve in order to keep the county running efficiently.

Unhelpful staff unless you know exactly who you want to speak to they can't search by department and therefore query left unanswered. I have spoken to another member of staff on a previous occasion who was more unhelpful than the last.
