Well where to begin. After having booked many months in advance when we arrived my son in law had to drive the receptionist around to locate the cot whilst my daughter manned reception. Once checked in there were no toiletries not even a bar of soap. The next morning breakfast was not child friendly. No suitable cereal for children. The high chair had to be repaired on furst day but broke on second morning. Breakfast was poor. Service was slow additional butter requested was off. After first breakfast we went out of a walk only to be shouted after with "have you paid" to which we replied that we were staying 2 nights. We had booked 2 rooms as we were attendind a wedding. On returning late at night we found that the rooms had not been serviced and dirty cups were still in the rooms. I have never stayed anywhere before where the rooms have not been made on a dsily basis. My daughters rooms was outside the main house and on returning from the wedding was meet with an army of ants in the room.
Lastly on our way home we stopped in Birmingham to realise that my grandsons comfort blanket had been left. We rang the hotel who found the bkanket. We asked if we provided the postage would they send it up. The reply was a definute no. Fortunately I gave family in Neath who went to collect it and post it.
On checking out I was told that the owner would be back on 7th but as I cant seem to find an email address I have had to post this.
