I was there to collect my mothers remaining medication as they didn't have enough when I collected the week before. On the phone I was told I did not need a ticket and to proceed to the left hand side. Every time I go there I am unsure where to queue as so many people crowd the tills.nnAnother family were a little lost so one of the staff came to the front and made such a deal about it and pointed people where they should be queuing.nnI was a little irritated and just said this happens every time I come here, and the family who stood by me agreed with this. Me and the family continued to have this chat where one of the superiors came and said for us to stop having a go... Come on! The lady who served me kept giving me these rude looks as if I had done something to her, however they could not take constructive criticism and I really felt her rudeness was not called for.nnI could have been a little softer in my approach and brought up my initial criticism at a quieter time, but to get these looks was wrong. The manager could have even took me to the room but did not seem interested.nnIn the end I thanked her when she gave my medicine and didn't continue with anything from before. I left quietly but this has really been eating at me. I would love to send this review to someone but can't find their email address.nnPLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - sort out the way to queue, improve signage for people and maybe even split out the collection vs obtaining a ticket for prescription drop off. Maybe even install a ticket system outside so numbers are called to hand in prescriptions.nnThankfully I only use this for hospital medication pick up.
The staffs at Mayday Lloyds Pharmacy main reception are not professional, and quite rude.nThey just walking around in and out and not really providing the service patients are there for.nI think they fancy seeing old and vulnerable patients queuing and waiting. How can a vulnerable patient collecting prescribed medication wait up to 3 hours? This is indeed ridiculous, and when we try to ask questions about the long wait, they keep telling us to keep on waiingt. The rude, arrogance, and the lack of empathy towards patients are just outrageous.
Nearly 25minutes in queue. Only 4 peoples Infront of me. Once got ticket, another long long wait for collect medication. My number not been call. Peoples after me all collected their medicines. Nearly 40 minutes,I went to counter, asked about my prescription. Then only they gave mine. Not even say sorry when I complained about late service. Not friendly at all
If there was an option for zero star, i would have chosen that. For the past 3 years, I have had to collect my meds from them as it was internal prescriptions otherwise would never use this pharmacy at all. The front staff are so rude. During these past 3 years, the waiting time to collect your meds have increased from 30mins to 75mins. I had to wait 65mins yesterday to be told that the meds are not ready as they need my height and weight. I could not believe it when I was asked this after waiting 65minutes. Then after 15mins , I am told that they can provide only 4 injections and for the rest , I will get a call tomorrow. I waited today, nothing. Called them 8 times today, no one answers. This how the service is there, complete joke. No consideration at all for unwell/old people trying to jungle life with medical appointments as if we have nothing to do but just sit and wait hours in a hospital environment when all we want is to leave the place as soon as possible.nAll I hope that somebody does do something about how this pharmacy is runned.
Hospital pharmacies are busy, it's just the nature of the beast. However the Lloyds Pharmacy at Croydon Hospital is one of the better pharmacies. The system isn't perfect but they try and get through people as quickly as possible. For all the people complaining, you should try the pharmacy at Kings.....
