For the love of god, sort out your Self -Checkout Assistant monitoring. Scanned all my items, went to checkout with my handset, handset said a member of staff was on their way to check my basket. Waited 6 minutes. They evidently were not. Clicked Assistance on the screen, which said a member of staff was on the way. Waited 8 minutes. They evidently were not. A mix and match 4 for £5 discount was not applied to my basket, but I couldn't bring myself to spend any more time here. You're welcome, ASDA shareholders. If I have to grab a member of staff to get help, that's fine! But don't lie to me that someone is on their way to help when nobody in the store has a clue that anything is wrong. Legitimately what is the point of telling us someone's coming? We're just getting frustrated while our shopping defrosts before we find someone like we were going to have to anyway. To be clear, this is an issue with your company's systems, the staff were very helpful.nnThe chocolate hazelnut croissants are to die for.
Large store with wide range of products. Helpful staff. Plenty of free parking available
constantly turning off their deliveroo store hours early and never putting it back on after a busy period. i understand the need to hold off of deliveroo to prioritise staff for in person shoppers, but closing it entirely is such a weird move. maybe it’s changed since i worked in hospitality but you were able to pause orders and it would show on the customer side that it’s paused. during that can still see your basket, or even when it’s just closed normally at end of business hours you can still see your basket and preorder for when it’s open. the way it’s closed is so weird and i’ve never seen it before on either side of deliveroo, and i can’t access my basket when it’s like this. but again, when it’s out of business hours at least what is set up on the app, i understand it might not be the same as the actual store i can see and access my basket. just really weird and frustrating for others like myself who for whatever reason are unable to come into the store physically and rely on delivery services.
They do a rollback program which allows you to buy things cheaper than other major supermarkets.nClean store with lots of choice. They do have a separate section for George and there is an Amazon counter to send return parcels.nMcDonald's and Timpson ASDA optical, pharmacy, photo studio service, fresh bakery products, plenty of parking space with petrol filling station
Asda prices are definitely cheaper compared to other supermarkets! Depending on what offers they have. I do like their fruit and veg! I like using self scanning machine, however I have been in there a couple of times in the morning and none of the machines were charged. They also didn’t have any shopping trolleys in its designated area! This happened first thing in the morning when they open and you hope it would be better organised.nn3/12/22 - I went at 8am this morning, same problem! A few handsets but not charged. One of the staff member mentioned something about staff not putting them on charge at night and actually asked me to leave feedback! So here you go with pictures! Please do better. Thank you
