Attempted twice today to telephone this bank to make a face to face appointment. First attempt-so many security questions around issues I didn’t expect or deem necessary I hung up. Second attempt-ready for all security questions, I finally got through to an actual person and during the conversation she cut me off! Waste of my time completely.
Disgusted by the lack of customer service and help given to my elderly neighbour who is over the age 80.
Words fail me with this bank this last 2 years , I lost my Son in September of 2019 and had to fight to get his money released so he got the send off he thoroughly deserved ,, absolutely appalled by the branch at Wigan !! Would not recommend at all , myself and the rest of our family now bank elsewhere !!
Not happy, made a special trip to transfer from savings which cant be done online or over the phone. As my local branch has closed this is now my nearest one. Got there only to find it is closed for refurbishment yet Google said it was open today, now have to go to Leyland branch... another trip and time wasted. If you are going to shut local branches then at the least make ALL transfers from savings accounts available online
I called twice to deposit a cheque to find closed went on line said nearest was Standish. It had closed. I knew hindley had shut had to go to Leigh. But they didn't even have a notice to say nearest one was. I'm disabled not able to walk far so this was a nightmare. Non have parking close by
Staff is always helpful and polite. Many thanks to Paul who helped me today, he was very quick and efficient. One happy customer.
Terrible bank. Staff ain't very useful so i moved to a different bank !
