Not at all interested in F2F business meetings. Shockingly bad customer service when phoning, long wait times, foreign call centres whose staff you can barely understand. Generally poor business services, things like mandate changes are a nightmare, the bank staff are clueless and issue incorrect advice. We've banked with this shambles for 11 years but are about to switch to National Westminster as we've reached the end of our teather with this cowboy outfit. They used to be good when you could actually go into branches to discuss service issues with staff, now Lloyd's state "face to face meeting are impossible and we don't offer that" - grow up! Avoid Lloyd's at all costs!
Obviously busy branch but lacks basic organisation eg: 1. No instruction for people 2. No queue management ie: queue hopping, no check on persons progress 3. Unhappy looking staff 4. Confused customers 5. Security staff being asked how to questions - see point 1.
Terrible service and unwelcoming staff, waited almost two months for my card only to be told my card was not being processed the whole time. I went to the bank 4 times during the span and was just told to wait. Waste my time and energy. Staff was unhelpful and honestly the worst service I ever experienced.

My partner and I visited this branch this morning. The staff there were great and very pleasant to deal with - it turned out that our transactions we had to do were quite tricky and the staff were very helpful in ensuring that we were both all sorted along with the appropriate checks. So just wanted to pass this message of thanks on.
i just cant believe in all the negative comments by others here.went to this branch several times and everything was resolved on top level customer service.Today i went to cash the cheque and 2 branch staff were welcoming people by the doors and one lady have helped me with my query.I dont know what are the people expectation is inside the brach.very weird low review score for unknown to me reason.Anyway thanks for your help today !!!
The customer service is horrendous. I am trying to open up an account and I went to this bank 5 times on different occasion. I understood that the first 2 times are on me, but on the subsequent visits, the problems that arise was not in my control they don't have enough staff is what they told me.
I came on here to complain about the staff but so many reviews have already done this for me. How have they not been fired yet, they're so so rude. I could even hear the customer next to me getting spoken down to and to top it all off they had a full on puddle in the middle of the branch with nothing more than a yellow sign stating "cleaning in progress", get a mop.
Went to above bar branch to open an account last week, I had a really warm greeting from Sue the bank manager , she introduced me to Tara , who helped me to open the account. I had a really good experience, Tara helped me with patient and provided a very friendly and warm service. Thank you so much ! This is my first bank account in the UK.
I have mixed feelings towards this branch. Some of their employees gave me a lot of misinformation and wasted weeks of my time but some of their employees are really helpful. I will give four stars for that nice young Chinese lady who helped me with my bank accounts, she’s such a delight.
