Was a nice quiet mooring site with electricity and water at each floating pontoon, which would house 2 boats in busy periods. Within walking distance of the canal side tearooms, the horseshoe falls and if course Llangollen itself. There is an overnight mooring charge, presumably to cover the utilities, but at £6 didn't break the bank. There is however a 48 hour limit on mooring time, but this should be more than enough for most.

Lovely walk along the wharf with the grandchildren nice park for them to play in and a picnic area along with a little cafe. We also walk down the row path...canal boat rides available...the boats are towed by a shire horse...a super family day out.

The wharf is a good place to visit with lots to do including horse drawn boat trips along the canal which last 45 minutes and are rewasonably priced. You can get to meet the horses at the stables and pet them and the tea room is well presented with good food and drinks. There are also toilet facilities
