Great experience from start to finish! I contacted a number of removal firms for quotes. Rachel at Alex was the first to respond and offered a competitive price. Throughout the planning process, Rachel kept in touch and was thoroughly organised. The 3 guys that carried out the move were brilliant and very nice with it. They were very careful and respectful of our property and belongings. There were a couple of challenges getting some large furniture through the door, but they weren't to be beaten and took the door off and put it back. Probably the best removals experience I have had. I would thoroughly recommend Lix Removals. Emma

Moving home ! Isn't there a phrase that says moving is one of the most stressful things you'll do .. well I have moved a few times in the last few years and it doesn't get any easier. Then again Lix Removals made the actual movement of my belongs pretty stress free. From starting the service, getting a quote from Rachel - she was clear and listened to everything that I wanted to move , the items that needed extra care and attention, she was polite and extremely professional. The communication was great from start to end and she even reminded me of things that I had forgotten. Boxes arrived early and the packing began - a little slowly on my part with a bit of a rush at the end, just to add to my stress :) The day arrived and the removal guys couldn't have been better, they where careful and considerate of the place I was moving out from and into my new property. The price quoted was competitive, it wasn't the cheapest .. although they say you pay for what you get and from beginning to end, I got exactly what I paid for and more. I would have no hesitation in recommending Rachel, Ibriham and the team from Lix removals.

We were pleased to have chosen Lix Removals and felt a weight have been lifted off us at a stressful time when we were of moving house. The movers were on time, accommodating and worked really hard to ensure that we moved efficiently and had all our belongings and furniture placed in our new home where we needed them. Just what you need after a very long day....

Good at what they do, however, be careful. If you call these guys and get what seems like a really good price, I suggest emailing them a full list of what you want moved. I was quoted £220. Then after half an hour they upped the price by £50 saying I had more stuff then they expected. Then while I was away signing my old flat over, they called me to say that I had even more stuff than that and the price was now £475. Oh and to tell me they were on the move to my new place. Apparently, it was my fault and I WAS DISHONEST!!!! This was even though they admitted to my friend that the day the lady gave me the quote over the phone (which was never put in writing of course), she was really busy and didn't ask me enough questions.

We'vemoved a lot over the years and Lix have been the friendliest, most professional and easy company of all. Nothing was a problem and the process felt organised and smooth. As for the packing; careful, rigorous and clever! We moved from Brighton to London and I would thoroughly recommend Lix for any job. I've already told most of my friends about them...Jessica Leigh
