Monument to a creative Genius typical of ALL Scousers.
Here stands John, slouching against the wall in Mathew Street. All around are flashy bars, souvenir shops and general tat, with music blaring out. I wonder what he would have made of it. It’s a must-see for Liverpool, but a short walk down the street is all that is needed.
The whole street is full of things to do. I bought a John Lennon hat and guitar picks.
Really friendly statue.
