Just enough Waitrose to fit in the town centre, overall good choice and prices aren't bad either, and you get a free coffee with your card.

Very compact store. Good location. Clean. Helpful staff. Peak- times can obviously be packed. Only place to get organic coffee from a supermarket in town. Pricing policy is a bit confusing on some products considering Tesco is opposite with very cost- effective, quality options.

I live in town and go to this place for certain items that I need fairly regularly .. I'm shocked by the reviews of here.. To me, the prices are extortionate, forget about the excuse the town position and rent, 20 steps opposite is tesco who are a lot cheaper for branded items.. I find some of the staff quite stuck up and unfriendly, the service is slow there, never enough staff on tills, they serve slowly and don't react to queues.. The coffee machines are generally broken or needing some staff intervention, but as i said not enough staff, you have to go hunting for them.. Not acceptable, very poor! Waitrose go to other supermarkets and see how it's done, to get good prices, good customer service, generally a whole customer experience!
