A bijou cafe that cosily seats about 25 people. There is an 'alpine' theme with skis etc on the wall, obviously linking to Chamonix. The menu has a reasonable selection of hot and cold foods plus daily specials and various cakes. Prices are fair though only cash payments are accepted at the moment. Baked potatoes were not available when I visited (early Sunday afternoon) but the hot, thick soup and fresh bread were very tasty. After placing the order at the counter it is bought to the table with the service being efficient. I would recommend this cafe particularly if you choose a less busy time to visit.

Place itself a but cramped but always full which is a good sign. Gorgeous home made soup and variety of cakes sandwiches etc. When next at Keswick I will be going back. Xx

Popped in here on a wet afternoon for a cuppa and a bite to eat, the food was homemade, very good, reasonably priced and the staff were friendly.
