Went here yesterday to look for a bed and new mattress as we had bought here a few years ago. We were pounced on as soon as we walked through the door and when we explained that we have a bed lift due to my wife's disabilities told we could only have a mattress at over £1000. Yet apparently if anyone sold us a mattress cheaper they would only be after our money. However my last purchase was a mattress to sit on the bed lift was sold to me was a gel foam mattress at a cost of £600 from the exact same store. So now who wants my money. The woman we saw yesterday was rude
Called up the store needing the bed the same day, was told by Matthew to pop into the store and he would try and sort something out. He was professional and knowledgeable and managed to get me a bed sorted, delivered and assembled all within 4 hours.
Absolutely great company. Margaret took plenty of time listening to us and recommended the Kaymed mattress after us buying an Emma Mattress that was horrendous . It’s now arrived and it’s amazing!!! Best sleep I have had in a long time!!!!
We have bought our beds from here for the past 25 yrs, after moving out of the stockton area I thought I'd have to shop elsewhere, didn't like the stores in my area so rang Linthorpe beds and am really pleased I did, the lovely Kalim answered the phone and was brilliant in listening to what I wanted and finding out what was available that suited me. I received my new bed and mattress just over 2 weeks after ordering as I was advised I would. The whole process was quick and simple and I can't thank Kalim enough for all his help, really pleased I stuck with this company and would highly recommend.
WARNING be careful Bought a mattress 18 months ago then developed a fault contact linthorpe beds because it had a 5 year guarantee so what I thought it had a 1 year guarantee and a 4 year warranty Is a warranty the same as a guarantee I had to pay £120 towards the warranty the job I'm in if the part is faulty its replaced free of charge covered under warranty you say I'm not on your system try Ts95db
I ordered a bed that I thought was similar to my old one. Turned out it was not. I spoke to salesperson to say I'd pay whatever extra to get similar bed. Sales person asked if wrapping was still on bed and I said the deliverers took it away with them and my old mattress. This was all within an hour of delivery. Sales person says he'd get back to me ASAP and I kins of knew he wouldn't. Call it intuition. I was right. No response and now I'm stuck with a mattress I'm not happy with and can't do anything about it. Be careful with this company. I gave it 2 star because of this and waiting 6 days for delivery - not like ad which says next day delivery. Also refunds would be given within 14 day. Another blatant lie. AVOID AVOUD AVOID. Delivery guya were amazing.
I cannot speak highly enough of Dave who helped me through the whole process, from start to finish, of choosing a custom size bed. I needed a short small double 4ft x 5ft.3" with drawers. Dave was exceedingly patient and helpful and I'm pleased to say that my lovely new bed arrived yesterday. Of course it's early days to speak about how comfy the bed is long term but I can say that I slept well last night, so fingers crossed...... Thank you Dave. You are an asset to Linthorpe Beds
Reasonable prices, you'll be spoilt for choice. We bought a mattress and we're very pleased with it
Helpful staff but Beds are so filthy you don't want to try them.
