I was intrigued by Lindy Lou's on Ebay so I took a trip to Rayleigh in Essex , only 30 min from Stratford East. The shop is a veritable gold mine if its vintage clothes you are looking for: beautifully tailored trousers and jackets all made from real vintage 40s 50s 60s patterns in sensible sizes we are not all slim fit you know ! Lynn and Paul are delightful and very helpful but also very knowledgeable about these clothes. If its a real shopping experience you are after then this is the place. If you have to order anything then I can tell you you are not going to wait weeks , my trousers were ready and in the post in one week.Brilliant service. I would recommend this place to any connoisseur of vintage clothes.
Very pleased to find this wonderful shop bought some fabulous forties trousers and a shirt and my wife bought jumpers and a blouse. The sizing and the quality was superb, we will be back for more.
Love this shop, had my Wedding suit made with no fuss and all class. Have since bought 2 pair pegs and 50's shirts.

Well what can you say, been looking for a pair of peg trousers like the one's I owned years ago ,only found this shop by chance and I was taken by the way in which colour you could get , brought 1pair delivery was as stated and they were brilliant wife said that I will look great in them so went back brought another pair look out dance floor the soul boy is back .Paul thank you we are never to old to dance to that beating rhythm …
Great place to have a look at the clothes and accessories on sale. Could do with a better turn around of stock but I still go and have a look every now and again.
