Fantastic knowledgeable and helpful staff. They fitted my son's new car seat and assisted with the fit of our spare one. Car safety is so important but it's been tricky to find retailers who are actually well-trained and after some dodgy advice from another well-known car centre I'm so relieved I visited this centre.
I emailed with a question about three across the back for my car, they booked an appointment for the next morning. I was met by a very friendly couple of ladies - masked up and appropriately distanced - who checked out my car and my problem and came up with a solution straight away. The isofix extender is exactly what we needed to give the boy who sits in the middle more shoulder room in the back of the car. Quick, simple, friendly and stress free. They also offered some good advice for the next size up car seats, and when to change over, as the little ones grow. Thank you
Really good! Car seats felt overwhelming and a tad daunting you want your little one to be as safe as possible, but there are so many. And after visiting another store, I just left more confused than ever. A friend recommended this place, so we thought we'd try. The booking of an appointment is ideal, no need to try and track someone down while your little one gets bored or hungry in the shop. There is a safe little play area for them and the shop has a good selection of seats to choose from. By passing on our details beforehand, there was no need to first go through all that, Sharon already knew which seats suited our car. We almost chose a Recaro again as we have good experiences with the brand, but here they honestly pointed out our twins would prob not last long in this seat as they are above the average percentiles considering the cost, we are very grateful for the honesty!. Instead we ended up with Britax. Perhaps not as flashy looking, but just as safe. : On the way home they both looked comfy and happy in them and we know we're sorted for a good while again, feeling safe on any trip we do. : We will be back for their final seats for sure and will pass on the recommendation to anyone looking for a car seat.
Cant recommend enough, brilliant staff great advise, really know there stuff, my son loves his new car seat, and regards to covid very clean very organised and even know they can't fit the seat them selfs they talk you through step by step, witch to be honest I found better as I know how it goes myself if I ever need to move it. thank you ladies.
I can't rate the Rayleigh branch 6 stars ... or I would do so. I just love this place. Their customer service is impeccable and considering that impeccable service is going towards getting the absolute safest car seat for your child then what more could a parent want!? As a massive advocate of extended rear facing car seats but with that same topic also being quite detailed and sometimes confusing, finding this place has been a real gift to our family. In fact we have bought three different seats from them in the past 6 months as we have one in our car and one in each of our parents cars who look after our daughter Chloe. The staff helped us choose and more importantly fit the exact right seat for each of the cars whilst also showing us how to do it patiently and promoting the extended rear facing benefits to our dubious parents which was much needed and much appreciated also I'm not going to lie that almost every member of staff had something to do with our car seat choices and fitting so I can't name a particular name as they're all amazing, kind and friendly. I'm sad ice bought car seats for now so won't have to visit for a while just to see everyone. It is a little daunting when you walk in to see about 50 seats lined up... but that's the beauty of this place!! This isn't any old Argos or Halfords, you don't choose the seat based on what free gifts you get or how your "friends all got that forward facing one so it must be fine", you have a one on one appointment booked in and really have a custom experience where your seat is chosen based on specifications of your car and your child. I recommend it to everyone and beg people to consider erf. Do research, do studies, it's all out there for you at the end of a keyboard. Thank you again In Car Safety Centre Rayleigh. You are a special company and have special employees as a result.
It's been a long time since someone has been so rude to us in store, I've left saying I would rather pay more somewhere else than give them our money. It's appointment only, but they don't say this anywhere. I had to drag it out of them that, yes, one of the three people sitting about doing mptjkng could see me while I was in the shop and we didn't have to drive half hour home and half hour back when they could be bothered. They barked at me 'what are you looking for'. They only sell car seats. What she meant to ask was what age my child was, and what car we had. Such a strange approach to getting your questions answered. They don't have most of the car seats in store that they advertise online. When they asked us for £80 more than their online equivalent car seat, she insisted they had absolutely no alternatives or similar. Nothing. Yet behind her was the exact same seat, £100 cheaper, but just had a fixture difference. We left after this.
Amazing - but ESSEX only! We originally went to their Milton Keynes branch which is already an hour journey from our home, only to be told that there was no way we would be able to fit three seats in the back of our VW Tourag. After spending hours of researching online, we decided to go to their Essex branch - nearly a two hour drive from our house. This staff we're nothing short of amazing and came up with a number of recommendations and suggestions which worked. They were really helpful and results orientated. I'd 100% recommend, but not the MK branch - head to Essex for an amazing service
Excellent customer service from Rebecca at in car safety centre. All other staff just as friendly. Installation advice was very good with little hints and tips to make it easier. Travelled from Kent to Essex to visit and it was worth the trip.
Visited here today and brought the britex two way elite. Gayner was amazing. Gave us lots of advice and advised us which would be better. We agreed on the twe. All fitted properly. Now I can relax knowing our son is safe in his new car seat.....
