We love it because it's close to our home, the beach it's not a classic beach with sand but rather rocky bit nice non the less.
Good access point to some awesome coastline. It's a really nice walk both along the cliff tops and along the beach. Still has the ledge of coal spoil which is interesting but means its not somewhere I would go to play, but as I say awesome for a walk.
We came to this beach for a walk because we have never really gone wrong before in the North East. BUT THIS must be the dirtiest beach i have been to in the north east. not nice. Beer can's, burnt out cars, burnt out disabled scooter. tampons. genral rubbish. Even the kids said how dirty it was. wont be back.
Great quiet beach for walking your dog. Bit stony but our dog Loves it!
Quiet but that's the time of year. Easy access to seafront
