I used to shop at this branch a lot but have gradually stopped and now only visit occasionally. Yes they are good value but that is it's Achilles heel as it always seems so busy when I visit resulting in long waits at the tills that they can be bothered to open.nnMy last visit today has strengthened my decision to stop shopping here regularly.nnI'm old school and was brought up to be respectful and polite, today's visit saw me get to the guy at the checkout who failed to acknowledge me, not even so much as a hello, he said nothing to me as he was too preoccupied with chatting to one of his colleagues on another checkout.nnAfter he'd scanned all my groceries he didn't tell me the total or ask how I was going to pay, he pushed the receipt at me across the checkout counter and said not a single word.nnOK I appreciate it's a busy store and the cashier's are probably feeling tired, stressed I get that but manners are free, cost nothing to use and can make the difference between leaving a good impression or a bad one hence this negative review.nnSuffice to say I've no plans to go back there anytime soon.
They installed self serve machines merely days ago but they kept them closed on a Saturday afternoon. Then only 2 tills open and massive queues. Why?
The Check out people are always happy and friendly. The products are well priced . The ready meals are not much more than half the price of Tesco, Sainsbury but to my taste are better.nMiddle of Lidl is always interesting and I buy things I did not realise I wanted. Glad they came.
Very disappointed. Closed a till and moved us behind a woman doing a massive shop . Ended up using self service that I personally hate . My opinion is I pay for service as part of the cost of my shopping . Why should I serve my self ?
The worst Lidls in the Uk.nnNo self checkout and hardly any customer service here no one to ask they all just walk on and blatantly ignore an customer. The shelf are constantly missing something I come to this branch atleast 3 times a week because it is on my way home. I have to double check the prices when they scan everything because they have over charged me multiple times. I have the pictures and receipt to prove it!nnThey just do not care!
