A reasonable Lidl, cheap and good quality produce. Excellent bakery. Fruit and veg particularly good. There is often a long queue for the checkout. The self-service machines are a bit slow. And there are often people begging outside of the doors, in my experience (I have been here maybe twenty times in the last six months, and there has been someone outside badgering me for money about half of these). Store itself tidy, clean, and well stocked.

Good value, lots of fruit, veg and meat as well as prepared food. Bakery on site. If people stick to the bag after paying rule it is quick to get served. I particularly like the regional specials, etc Spanish one week then Greek... Good to try something different.

I've been going to this Lidl for about 6 months and today I promised myself I'd never return again. Go to this Lidl if you want to be hounded by endless homeless people and get into arguments/swore at by polish people. People without children or not disabled constantly take up the bays for said people. They spent about 6 weeks doing it up once and it still looks like a dive. People who shop in there shop like the world is ending and they need to scramble for the last slice of bread or they'll die. I hate this place, I HATE it. The only good thing about this place is the staff are always lovely and friendly... When I leave I leave stressed and can actually feel the tension in my chest.... But don't expect to get the chance get a breather out in the parking area because the homeless will be begging you, once again, for your money! If you're really lucky they'll follow you to your car and take your trolley back for the quid! NEVER AGAIN!!

Went to this Lidl after work one evening, for something for dinner. They had plenty of choice and I ended up getting pizza, chips and coleslaw which were all delicious and very good value for money. I also bought a few other things including some items from the bakery which was being freshly replenished as I approached meaning the cookies I bought were still nice and warm. Overall good experience in store.

Lidlington on Mansfield Road  is a wonderful shop. Great value. Excellent quality and variety of items. Wouldn't  go anywhere  else  and the  staff are always  helpful and pleasant
