Not as Lidl on price as it used to be. Frequently long waits at the till. I do wish they would install self service. Also frequently have to go elsewhere as they haven't got an essential that I need. For instance, no bananas today.nStaff are good, but not enough of them.
When little appeared on the UK market, a lot of people turn their nose up at it. We regularly visit the branch in Monmouth which is our nearest one. If you shop here you can definitely see a significant reduction in your weekly shopping costs. By comparison Asda and Morrison, may be larger but the offer is more expensive. Don’t even get me started about Waitrose.
Best Lidl experience I've ever had! I visited on a Wed afternoon, before the schools were out and the store was clean, well stocked and blissfully quiet. No parking restrictions either. Definitely a 5* experience.
Seven people in the store at 8pm. All seven in the checkout line while the manager or duty manager shuffled a few things on a shelf nearby. No sense of helping people complete their shop. Just an absolute lack of care. And the poor checkout person? So grumpy and frustrated that it made you want to avoid the place like the plague. Which I will do now.
Lovely store with helpful staff. Not the best stocked and some items we get in our local Lidl were not on sale here. No customer toilets unfortunately but that’s a small point. Happy to recommend and would be happy to go back
