Hello,nnI am a customer at your store . During my visit on [05/02/2026, 18:52], a security guard followed me to the checkout and stared at me aggressively, making me feel uncomfortable and intimidated.nnI would appreciate it if you could look into this and ensure this does not happen again.
This particular Lidl is my 'go to' for the weekly ship because I know some of the staff and it tends to be a bit quieter than my local branch. I have always managed to find the items I was looking for and had friendly, helpful staff to approach for questions.
I visited the store around 19:45 and was shocked by how unprofessional the older woman with grey short hair was at the self checkouts. She spent more time complaining about being there and worrying about getting her cleaning done so she could leave on time than actually helping customers. She looked irritated and uninterested, completely ignoring people who needed help with the app or scanning. If she doesn’t want to deal with customers, she shouldn’t be on the tills. Totally unacceptable attitude and poor reflection on the store
Nobody on tills and self-checkouts closed, In my entire life I have never encountered that with Sainsbury's or Asda/Morrisons, this store treats people like they are recidivists. They are clearly cutting costs to the very bone and it's just not good enough when the customers have to pay the balance with their own wasted time.
Excellent staff support, even better bakery items.nCroissants were simply wonderful, the donuts excellentnnEverything was spot on
