One of the staff members a tall portly fellow with brown hair, generally found near the self-checkout really needs to address his hygiene. Every single time I go in I purposely have to avoid him as the smell literally makes me feel sick. Please teach your employees about proper hygiene standards.
I visited the Lidl store in Longton today and witnessed something that really stood out. One of the female staff members was speaking with a member of the public while he was waiting at the till. I can’t be 100% sure, but I think the gentleman may have been homeless. What struck me was the kindness and respect she showed him.nnI overheard her asking if he was okay, whether he had enough food, and if there was anything he needed. She explained that she and other members of staff had been worried about him and that she would let the others know she had seen him and that he was doing well. It was genuinely heart-warming to hear someone speak with such care and concern.nnThe gentleman went in front of me in the queue as he was only paying for a drink. He was very polite and friendly, and when I mentioned I was swapping some mouldy strawberries, he kindly reminded me to take my phone and bank card from the conveyor belt.nnAs I left the store, I saw him outside speaking with a friend and he even waved goodbye. When I got back to my car, I found myself reflecting on how lovely it was to see such simple kindness. It really made my day, and it’s a credit to the staff member and the store.
This Lidl of course offers great deals and affordable shopping for the family .. however i wanted to comment on a particular member of staff who works there.nnANDY!!nnIve been tilled up multiple times by him and every time .. whether he is tired or dealing with a situation he has always smiled and treated me with kindness and respect even though i fill up his conveyor belt thing nnI shop without my toddler for the convenience of not being stressed and Andy's easy conversation .. warm smile .. and general attitude when i visit this Lidl is lovely and as i work with the general public myself ... its a much needed kind exchange.nnThank you Andy for treating me like a human being and not an inconvenience for doing a big shop xxnnFrom the lady who puts nappies at the end of the belt so u understand why the trolley was packed high
