Nice German supermarket in the UK reasonable prices
Never really used Lidl until the other week, went in to get a few bits for the kids birthday party and managed to get everyfin I needed.nHas some great produce and prices are reasonable.nnOnly thing I couldn't get me head around, with not being in Lidl before. One minute I was in a grocery store and next minute felt like I was in a DIY/we have everything store. Not complaining Had some alright stuff if got time to look.
Went in Lidl for the first time just to see what it's like. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and quite upmarket it appeared inside the shop. The middle aisle seemed to have some good quality stuff in. I unfortunately couldn't find a lot of the stuff I would usually go to Aldi for food I take to work or they only had the big brand version of what I would have which I refuse to pay what they charge for. So I ended up going to Aldi anyway.nnAll in all a good, clean & tidy shop which I will most likely visit again if I fancy a nosey around
No self serve tills, long queues for a few items, I keep forgetting and go back in, pick another shop with self serve tills unless you have time to kill
Good stock, great variety at low prices, some staff/customer awareness training needed though nearly got slammed out the way on a clear aisle by the same staff member 3 times hence the 3 star not 4 star review.nnAll in all though got what i needed for less than expected.
