Nice location, most of the staff there are friendly. However, a black lady with dread locks works there and sometimes she can come across as a bit rude, multiple other customers have commented to me about their negative experiences with her also. She is friendly with some customers but multiple times ignores others, she does it even when serving on the till. She never smiles at me and never speaks to me whenever she serves me, but with other customers she is much more friendly. She does it everytime I come in contact with her. It's bothered me for a long time, until I found out from others but she does the same thing to some other customers.
do my main shopping here, i like most of the products & pricing, generally always have a good experience. cant say i recommend fresh fruit from here though mainly berries. found 3 batches of strawberries that had fluffy mold on them which is a bit diabolical
I have decided to pop into this store on our way home with my boy and I was completely shocked. The new self checkout wasn’t busy only us and another couple was doing shopping but no assistant or whatsoever close by… I needed help with something and saw the office door open just behind us so asked help and a lady came out not saying how she looked but her attitude was just stinking.nShe just asked me “What do you want?”nI was like what the hell…nDisgusting customer servise I must say! Nobody can help that store no matter how many new store manager show up there…! If I ever talk that way to my customers I would be really shameful for sure!
First time shopping here, but never again after today!nnAbsolutely horrible customer service! Miserable staff who were rude, along with the manager and security officer who basically accused me of being a thief - in front of the whole store full of customers too!nnFollowed me/watched me around the store from the moment I entered and made me feel like I was a thief being watched! Accused me outright at the till when I was packing my shopping away and even asked me to empty my shopping and compare it to the receipt. And that’s not the best part, they even asked me to empty my coat pockets and unzip my coat to prove that I hadn’t taken anything!nnJust because I look young for early 30s, and decided to wear jogger bottoms and a hoodie today - on my day off from work, does not mean I am a thief! I work in retail myself and would have never treated a customer like this!nnHorrendous experience instore and safe to say I will never be shopping there again!
Littered with homeless people outside:nI do have sympathy for the poor, however when you're a customer at Lidl, you don't want to see homeless people sat there in the cold begging you for spare change every time you walk through the doors. There is a man who sits on the left and a women with magazines who sits on the right I think? They are there often, I have brought this issue to the attention of staff before, and they removed them, but then they just came back. Why have security there if they're not going to do their job?
