There were two of us at the customer service counter tonight. First my mother-in-law got a lottery ticket and asked about getting a thunder ball. The clerk said it won't let her sell them until after 8 :00 p.m. and it was 7:55. I told my mother-in-law we could wait the 5 minutes. The next thing I knew the clerk left the counter and was gone. I was also going to get a ticket but she didn't ask if I wanted anything before she disappeared. No one else was tending the counter. So I had no opportunity to get what I wanted nor could we wait the few minutes to get the lottery ticket she asked for. How rude and irresponsible is that??
Large store on outskirts of town. Plenty of choice, good quality food and reasonable prices. Generally a quiet store. Staff always go the extra mile to help. Has an Argos store, petrol/diesel forecourt, cash point and recycling centre. Lots of free 2 hour parking but avoid the school home times as the exit can get very busy.nnDisabled parking and building access via ramp, lots of child parking places too.
Desperately needed a last minute disney dress for my little girl's birthday tomorrow. It was something that she had suddenly decided she wanted. So the lovely shop assistant went at the back to find a selection of her size when I couldn't find them myself and then I chose one. Thank you for saving day!
First time I've been here for months. With mobility problems, I find Sainsbury's online is best for me. Pleased to see they've widened the aisles, which makes it easier to move around especially when personal shoppers are there as well. Not complaining As I said I have my shopping delivered . I noticed a wide range of foods now on the shelf all nationalitys. I still miss the deli & fresh meat & fish stalls. I doubt if they will come back now but wish the bosses would reconsider. Got to the tills to pay very few cashier tills now,only one of those working, admittedly it was only 8am. mostly self service tills, as ex cashier CV I thought I'd be fine, but forgot that was 26 years ago when I retired . Managed to do it but fumbled a. Bit when tried to pop as y by card, k we pt pressing the screen where card was pictured luckily a staff member was near by ,& she can't to help, in my defence even she had problems with that bit, took some pressure to make it work.
One of my least favourite places to shop. As the supermarket is on the first floor and The travelator is always broken it's been broken on and off for about 12 months it's no longer suitable for doing a full shop. All discounted offers are via the nectar app which can't be accessed via 3 phone network and also EE. It's a no from me.
