I like this Tesco.nnThis is not very big, size wise this is moderate but almost all items are available here.nnParking is also has enough space. In and out is very busy.nnWine section is not very big but it is okay.nnPharmacy is good, Bakary section is not good enough.nnCheck out is not very big but fast enough.nnOverall it is a good Tesco for shopping.
I had a very disappointing experience with customer service at this Tesco Superstore.nnI recently made a purchase using the self-service checkout, with a total bill of £72. Unfortunately, I made a mistake while scanning items—I accidentally scanned two packs of Tesco 500g cornflour £2.55 each, but I did not take any of them and returned both to the shelf before completing my purchase.nnOn 10/04/2026 at around 19:05, I visited the customer service desk to explain the situation and request a refund for the items I was charged for but did not take. However, I was told that nothing could be done. The response felt dismissive, and I was treated with suspicion rather than as a genuine customer trying to correct an honest mistake.nnI was particularly disappointed that no effort was made to verify the situation, especially considering systems like stock tracking or CCTV that could potentially confirm what happened.nnAs a result, I lost £5.10 and left feeling upset and undervalued as a customer. Unfortunately, this experience has put me off returning to this store in the future.
Lady member of staff, doesn’t need to keep giving people dirty looks if someone picks up a carrier bag for their shopping at the self service checkout. I was practically stood over to ensure that I had paid the 40p for it and even then she had to mention if we had paid for it. Terrible customer service.
The store has recently changed to mainly self service, having been there today I scanned all of my goods, paid for all of my goods and then got stopped outside as the alarm sounded. I had to show the assistant my receipt and my goods with people watching. I had done nothing wrong! Seriously, if you don’t trust your customers don’t put self service tills on. I would much prefer a person on the till anyway.
This is my favourite supermarket. I’ve shopped here for years. And can I give a special mention to Jo and Jane on the self service checkouts. They are friendly, courteous and a credit to the store.
