I’m pretty picky when it comes to ratings. An average meal that satisfies me but isn’t extraordinary gets 3 stars. But this restaurant has earned all 5 stars. In addition to having delicious, high quality food, it’s set a few new records for more: best calamari I’ve ever had I try it at every restaurant I encounter that serves it, and best, most attentive, and friendly wait staff. It was very personal service. Highly recommend this restaurant, the people running it alone make me want to come back.
Excellent dinner of Rib Eye and the special, corned beef. Started with a mackerel cake and finished with a delicious Key Lime Pie. Service was very good. 10/10!!Food: 5/5
Very friendly & helpful staff, food was served pretty quickly. I had the eggs Benedict which iv heard are the best in cork…. It was good to be fair but iv had much better. It may have been a bad day but I’ll call again for sure.Recommended dishes
After years of extensive research I do believe this is the best brunch in Cork! Bit small so can be a long wait on the weekends, but midweek is more chill. Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious, they also have really nice apple juice. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Great food and service, the atmosphere is nice but not very calm. There is a lot of "... of the week" things e.g. sweet of the week. It is very central, there is no parking spots available, but that is to be expected in the middle of Cork.Food: 5/5
Wow! As vegan I came without big expectations, but it was just amazing. We took the vegan Caesar salad and the tempeh burger and they were both excellent! Also the service was super good. Highly recommended
Went with friends. Great atmosphere, very friendly, attentive staff and the food is delish, excellent quality and flavour. There’s something for everyone including vegan and vegetarian options. Good drink selection also. It’s been here for years and there’s a good reason why!Food: 5/5
I had been told that this was a must try while visiting Cork and it lived up to its recommendation. I had the fish of the day which was a halibut dish with a caramelized onion sauce, baby potatoes, and golden beets. It was amazing, I am a huge fan of halibut and this was a delicious way to eat it. I also got the apple upside down cake to go and while it didn’t look as pretty as it was meant too, it was still fantastic.
One of my favorite places to enjoy brunch in Cork. I soaked myself in the atmosphere of the place.Food: 5/5
What I got: Poached pear French toast Staff: I had two servers, one of whom was absolutely lovely, warm, welcoming, the other was quite cold and made the experience feel quite rushed by the end. Service: Food came quick enough. PS: to the server with pink hair, hmu
