The Museum is open everyday subject to volunteer availability, usually between 10am and 2pm. We are closed Jan and Feb except for weekends. Free entry.

Very interesting place to visit, described the history and learnt a lot from the items on display. A look back at what life was in the old days when going into the house that had been full of things from the olden days. Took grandad and he loved it. Staff friendly and polite would be good for children learning about history of Leigh or any port town

Knowledgeable staff and an interesting museum. The small cottage exhibit shows how life would have been for a fisherman and his family in the 1800s
