I have been to several health clinic drop-ins and this was one of the less-good experiences. Fair enough I didn't arrive at the start of the drop-ins window and I was still seen, but it felt like I was brushed off and they didn't do a check on me and I was told to "just go to Boots and buy xyz treatment" so I felt like I waited around for nothing.

Getting an appointment? Be easier to take the one ring to Mount Doom. A woman on the phone told me to ring on Saturday for Wednesday, but when I did the line was closed, you think she’d know that. I’m guessing I have to ring on Monday for Wednesday but that’s not two days in advance so what’s the odds it will miraculously be full somehow.

The staff at the Merrion and Beeston sites were not helpful as they told me the completely wrong times I could go for an appointment and were quite rude.

Lovely staff in an extremely busy environment. Not their fault it Is busy and that Leeds does not have enough clinics (NHS underfunded). Get there when it opens to make sure you are seen; or better still go in and make an appointment for the following day.

The sexual health service in Leeds is awful. It's nearly impossible to get an appointment, they're always short staffed and the clinics are in some of the roughest areas.
