I was so surprised when I saw the reviews for this place! It's my favorite crepe place in town! The portions are generous and prices are fair. My favorite crepe is the lemon and sugar...add strawberries. Many places do the lemon crepe very dry. This one has plenty of lemon and is generous with their filling. I brought my sister today who was studying in Paris. She said her crepe was better than any she had in Paris! Staff was also very friendly and gave us ice water as we were hot from our walk.
Cosy cafe with superb salty crepes and a nice outside seating area. Good prices and friendly staff. A nice place to enjoy coffee and beverages during a visit to Primrose Hill.Food: 5/5
Waitress so rude!! We came in to order and she just looked us up and down and rolled her eyes. We waited to order at the table but service was slow despite no one there. Definitely weird vibes… weird attitude… It’s Bagels is close by - go there!Food: 1/5
Pretty underwhelming in general. Everything is what it says it is and no more. Unseasoned sliced beef on bag bread. Boiled potatoe with bacon and cheese. Crepe was not bad. Service was fine. Can't really recommend.
Well unfortunately we were very dissatisfied. The scones that come with the cream tea, tasted like someone out of a supermarket and were even smaller than those from a supermarket. Not worth the 8.50 asking price. Crepe however was fine.Food: 1/5
I feel the reviews for this place are quite unfair. Maybe it was different before. I’ve been coming occasionally for a few of months and I love it. The service is always kind and attentive; The outside sitting is very charming and quiet enough to sit and read a book while you get a pretty decent coffee and honestly the best crepe I had in London so far.
This place was terrible. I read the reviews after I sat down and I should of read them before. I ordered a muffin since they required food with the drink and then while I was waiting on the patio I would hear the owner yell « she only ordered a muffin!?! » …. How can someone even think that is okay? The muffin also sucked by the way it was all dry and hard in the middle I couldn’t even eat it… honestly just so rude I am in shock and went on another patio afterwards just to fix my mood. Terrible. The smoothie was also tiny and such a rip off- not even yummy. I would give this place -1 star if I could.
Came here for a sugar and lemon crepe with coffee. The location is brilliant, a few minutes from Primrose Hill. The oat latte was good. The crepe batter itself was okay, fairly thin which was how it should be, but had too much lemon juice on it. The staff were warm and welcoming. The place is very small indoors and two small tables outdoors. Can get quite busy.
Stopped at the tea cosy for a cup of tea this morning, as you would imagine one might. We were turned away as we did not want to purchase food. I could understand if they were busy, but they weren’t. Establishment was 40% full at the time and remained that way when we walked back past 30 minutes later. Ironic name - they should consider a change.
Very busy Saturday in primrose hill and our group of 4 were looking for a quick coffee. We sat down only to be told by the waitress we couldn’t have coffee without ordering a meal! When we decided to leave, the waitress changed her mind and said we could stay ~ but only if we crammed around a tiny table! There were 6 other empty tables so no shortage of seating. We said no thank you and left. Totally fair they want to capitalize on a busy day, but seems a very silly policy especially when they were completely empty compared to all the other cafes nearby. Surely any revenue is better than nothing. I’m a local and would hesitate to go back here. Anyway we ended up going to Arvo next door and didn’t have the same issue!
