Hidden gem is the only way I can describe this place. The staff are always friendly, the food is lovely reasonably priced. Location is beautiful and so peaceful. 
They have all sorts of toys out for the little ones, dog friendly.
I love this place.

Terrible experience. Staff in kitchen arguing with each other, food left going cold as no-one to serve, orders getting mixed up and they don’t take card payments.
Three people in the queue in front of me walked out and I joined them. 
Lavender Barn please get your act together - you have the perfect setting for a wonderful tea room and you are letting yourselves and your customers down!

Hidden away next to Dunham Massey Park but well worth a visit. Fresh food, good choice, plenty of outdoor seating. Loved the China cups & saucers. Service a bit slow but staff are very polite & friendly.

I found the tea rooms on a walking route. It's near Bridgewater Canal & Trans Pennine Trail. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, good menu choice & good value for money. Family friendly & dog friendly. Hope to visit again some time.

Lovely little cafe well situated in a Walking/Hiking area. Lots of space to sit either inside or out. Have visited several times over the last year and will continue to do so when walking in the area.
