Best supermarket in Altrincham. Great selection of food and non food items. Well stocked and good service. Also you can use the SmartShop app or one of the handsets which is especially useful if you are doing a big shop as you can scan and pack as you go.
The changing rooms were closed again unsure why as these were open last time I visited. Tried the trousers on under my skirt over my tights as didn't want to do what the lady suggested and buy several pairs in difficult sizes because 1 I couldn't afford to buy several pairs all at once only needed the 1 for work. 2 I wasn't sure when I'd of been able to return them.
Popped in to see a business colleague over a quick Americano plus iced coffee, with a dash of caramel. Great outdoor seating, on top of the indoor seating. Ample 2 hour free parking facility.
I would just like to thank one of your colleagues Dan who was putting out the vegetables and was very helpful in finding what I was looking for. Wonderful customer service done with a friendly smile.
The female pharmacist at Sainsbury's Lloyd Street Altrincham is very abrupt, rude, combative and offensive. I went in there in my work clothes asking for advice. My questions were dismissed with a sneer and I was treated like I was a beggar from the streets because I was in my dirty work clothes. The female pharmacist was wearing a large golden Star of David. She should change her attitude to be honest.
It all feels a little bit dated in there , perhaps needs a refurb but overall can get what you need. Staff are very friendly and always service with a smile
Made an online order collection in store. The order was cancelled without any information. The cancellation email came the day after my collection date.
Clean, nice staff and good range of products. They even have Starbucks! Would recommend as it is walking distance from the town centre and it is competitively priced too.
Big, but Tesco across the way is bigger. But Sainsbury's is much more refined and there's a Starbucks to help you along. Admittedly there's no Greggs, so it's really difficult to decide with Tesco being so close. Maybe grab a Greggs in Tesco then leg it to Sainsbury's for a coffee. Enjoy, either, or both. Car park is easier to negotiate here in general.
Good quality food, easy access and friendly staff.
