Is the cafe empty for a reason? Walked in to dispassionate, bored looking staff. Poor service skills with no joy and love behind what they were doing. The area was very slap dash. The homemade bake beans where vile and looked like sick! Asked for a extra cup and it was slammed down onto the table with a lot sighs when asked to have another plate so we didn’t have to have the beans. No knives and forks were given to eat the breakfast until asked. Resent paying for the food we had. Ruined what was meant to be a early mother’s day treat.

Lovely tea room open all year round. Great activities for the kids during school holidays including the Maize Maze in the summer hols. Check out website for costs but well worth the money for a great family day out!

Food is excellent if a little pricey but good quality and portions. Good little play area and sand pit which are free to use. We have enjoyed some events there too like Halloween

Nice venue for the children to play. Lovely cafe but limited menu and space. Children enjoyed the tractor ride through the maize.

Have a lovely time with my grandson today been a few times all sorts for little ones to do sandpits and diggers to pick up sand and two little Wendy houses. Slides and swings and a lovely tearoom with all fresh produce and the staff are really friendly.
